Surprise for the Jubilant Stichting Prinses Wilhelmina Fonds

Celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Prinses Wilhelminafonds with a unique art fundraising event at Landhuis Brakkeput Mei Mei in Curaçao. Artist André Nagtegaal and five talented photographers have collaborated to create fifteen exclusive Gigi photo paintings, incorporating Curaçaoan scenes, with all proceeds benefiting the Prinses Wilhelminafonds cancer-fighting efforts. The artworks will be on display starting November 1st, with each piece available for sale at NAf 7,500.

WILLEMSTAD – Artist Andre Nagtegaal, five photographers, and Landhuis Bloemhof have joined forces to organize a special fundraiser for the 75th anniversary of the Prinses Wilhelminafonds. This initiative, spearheaded by Andre Nagtegaal, has been developed in collaboration with Landhuis Bloemhof.

The artist has created a Gigi photo painting, incorporating photos taken by Bea Moedt, Paul Senders, Barbara Blom, Marc Vinck, and Brett Russel. Both the artist, Landhuis Bloemhof, and the photographers have contributed to this project on a voluntary basis.

The result is a Gigi that reveals a Curaçaoan scene from behind a curtain. Each photographer submitted three photos, and Andre Nagtegaal has added a personal touch to the canvas prints of each artwork. The outcome is fifteen unique photo paintings, which will be offered to the Prinses Wilhelminafonds for fundraising purposes.

Recently, the chairwoman of the PWF, Ageeth Termars, was informed about this surprise. The photo paintings will be on display starting November 1st at the gallery of Landhuis Brakkeput Mei Mei. The aim is, of course, to sell these artworks to raise funds for the cancer-fighting foundation.

The goal is to raise NAf 7,500 per piece, all of which will go entirely to PWF on its anniversary. Interested parties can already register via info@prinseswilhelminafonds.cw.
